Nurturing your child's growth and learning

At the Ed Psych Clinic, we value the unique minds of all young people and believe there is no one right way of thinking, learning, or behaving. We believe that children flourish when their differences are embraced, strengths are encouraged, and when the environment supports this.

We offer educational and developmental psychology services for children aged 6-16 years, in a nurturing, non-judgmental environment. This includes:

  • Comprehensive assessments: Exploring neurodevelopmental and learning differences, where the assessment is tailored to the child. Report and recommendations are thorough, personalised, and practical. Our assessments differ in that we can cover one concern, or multiple concerns in the one assessment, saving families their time and resources. Assessments can cover:
    • Learning disorders (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia)
    • Autism (option to include a Speech Therapist autism assessor for a combined assessment if needed).
    • ADHD
    • Intellectual disability
    • Giftedness
    • Other learning challenges
  • Therapy & support services:  Including for those seeking more support after an assessment or diagnosis:
    • Short term consultations of 1-3 sessions (for parents, teachers, or the child)
    • Individual skill-building programs focusing on area of need (executive functioning, emotion regulation, self-esteem, celebrating and supporting your neurodivergent brain)
    • Counselling or therapy for behaviour or emotional challenges, anxiety, school concerns, resilience building, etc.
