A new experienced Occupational Therapist joined our team in mid-March, allowing us to expand our OT availability. We are currently onboarding children from our waitlist and accepting new enquiries.

Availability is now limited for community-based services in the far north of Perth; however, she still has capacity to support new participants in the central Perth area and are continuing to offer initial assessments in our North Perth Clinic.

Our Speech Pathologist works full-time, and her caseload is currently full. She is based south of the river and supports families across Perth. Estimated wait time to see Emily is 8-10 weeks (subject to location).

We are currently recruiting an additional Speech Pathologist to join our team.

Allied Health Assistant ⭐ Additional Therapy Available
Sessions are currently available with our Allied Health Assistant (under therapist supervision). These sessions are ideal for practicing therapy programs, building confidence, and increasing therapy intensity between clinician appointments.

Functional Therapy is focused on providing high-quality services and supports for our participants across a range of environments, so that therapy outcomes can be transferred to our participants every day, natural routines. Our hybrid service delivery options include sessions at home, school, day-care, in the community, group sessions/programs, telehealth, and in-clinic sessions in our North Perth clinic.

We are an inclusive, neuroaffirming, gender affirming, and sexuality affirming team of practitioners. Just as our clinicians are deeply dedicated to their profession, we as a company are dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of our clinicians, so that they are able to provide the best possible service they can to our participants. This means that our clinicians are unable to offer support and services outside of their work hours.

We accept private referrals: Private Health /Medicare / MHCP / EPC/ TCA
NDIS referrals: for plan and self-managed Paediatric participants (up to 17 years)

Accessing Services
To access our services, please complete the referral form available on our website. Once received, our Administration Team will review your referral and contact you regarding availability and waitlist options.

School Holiday Groups
