About
Tayla is an AHPRA-registered Psychologist and Play Therapist with extensive experience working across the lifespan. She brings a compassionate and person-centred approach to her work, specialising in supporting children, adolescents, and families.
A strong background in the NDIS sector, Tayla has worked extensively with children and adolescents, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing psychological and behavioural support as well as family and parental guidance. Over the past two and a half years, she has expanded her expertise while working regionally in the Kimberley, WA. During this time, Tayla supported children and families through approaches such as Child-Centred Play Therapy (CCPT), family systems theory, attachment-based frameworks, and other expressive therapies to help clients achieve their goals.
Now based in Perth, Tayla offers private psychological services with a focus on CCPT and filial therapy to foster strong parent-child relationships and provide meaningful parental support.
Tayla is passionate about creating a trauma-informed, holistic, and safe space for healing. She is dedicated to ensuring that every child, family member, and carer feels heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. Her practice emphasises thorough assessments to tailor individualised therapeutic interventions and support.
