About
Choirs4Kids is my passion project, born from a simple belief: every child deserves the joy of singing. I’ve spent over 25 years leading music programs, and my own love of music started when I was just three years old!
I noticed too many children missing out on the magic of singing, often due to age restrictions or the lack of school choirs. So, I decided to combine my extensive experience as a music educator with the unique teaching methods I’ve learned—Orff, Embodima, and Estill Voice Training. With a Bachelor of Education (Hons) in Music and Sport, and years of teaching in schools across Australia and the UK, I know how to spark that musical joy in every child.
Music isn’t just my profession; it’s my life. I’m a performer myself, active in local theatre and choirs, and a dedicated lifelong learner. I’m constantly expanding my knowledge, holding certifications in Vocal Health First Aid, Estill Voice Training, and exploring areas like neurodiversity and adolescent voice change.
I also believe in the power of personal growth, which is why I’m a certified Life Coach and NLP practitioner and am currently learning AUSLAN. At Choirs4Kids, my goal is to create a supportive, engaging, and transformative musical journey for every child. I want to share the joy of singing with you and your kids!”
