Paediatric occupational therapists help children to do all the things they want or need to do. These activities or tasks are called “occupations”.
Children’s occupations can include what they want to do during the day, like play, climb and eat. As well as occupations they need to do, such as sleep, brush their teeth, drink water, go to the toilet or write their name.
Paediatric occupational therapists can also have special interests in areas like emotional regulation, mental health, sensory processing or more.
Perth Kids Hub is your online guide to Perth’s *amazing* paediatric therapists, specialists, educators and schools who support kids & teens who learn, think or are developing differently.
Perth Kids Hub is created in Boorloo (Perth) on the land of the Whadjuk Noongar people. I acknowledge the traditional custodians throughout Western Australia and their continuing connection to the land, waters and culture. I pay my respects to all Aboriginal peoples; Elders past, present and emerging.
