Reviews Policy

At Perth Kids Hub, we welcome feedback from families to help others make informed decisions when choosing health, therapy, and educational services for their children. To keep this space respectful, helpful, and safe, all reviews are subject to the following policy:

Why we publish reviews

Reviews can help other parents understand what to expect from a provider and whether a service might be a good fit for their child. They should reflect genuine experiences and be shared in a respectful and constructive way.

What we allow

We publish reviews that:

  • Focus on your experience with the service
  • Are respectful and helpful to other families
  • Avoid naming individual practitioners in a negative way
  • Don’t share private health or personal information

Moderation process

All reviews are moderated before publishing.   We won’t publish reviews that:

  • Use offensive or discriminatory language
  • Include names of individual practitioners in a negative context
  • Share identifying details about children, families, or staff
  • Contain medical claims or clinical advice
  • Appear fake, malicious, or submitted under false identities

Respect for families and providers

Perth Kids Hub is not the place to raise formal complaints about a provider. If you have a serious concern, we recommend contacting the provider directly or lodging a complaint with the appropriate professional body or registration board.

Reviews and registered complaints

Perth Kids Hub does not publish reviews that relate to a provider who is currently under investigation or has a known unresolved concern registered with their professional governing body or regulator (e.g., AHPRA, Psychology Board of Australia).

 

This is to:

  • Protect the integrity of the investigative process
  • Avoid influencing or prejudicing formal complaints or outcomes
  • Ensure our platform remains fair, respectful, and not a forum for legal or regulatory disputes
  • If we become aware that a provider is under investigation or subject to conditions on their registration or practice, we may temporarily:
  • Pause the publishing of new reviews related to that provider
  • Remove or hide existing reviews
  • Notify reviewers that their feedback cannot be published at this time

We encourage anyone with serious concerns about a provider’s conduct to contact the appropriate professional board or complaints body directly.

Privacy and anonymity

To protect everyone’s privacy, reviews are published anonymously unless you choose to include your name. Please avoid including any information that could identify your child or another person.

Right of reply

We believe in fairness. If a review raises a concern, we may give the provider an opportunity to respond. We may also follow up with you to clarify your feedback or resolve any issues offline.

Right requests

If you or a provider believes a review should be removed, you can contact us. We’ll assess the request in line with this policy. All final decisions are made by the Perth Kids Hub team.
