Parents, who would you recommend to those families searching for an autism assessment for a child who masks their presentation?
Parents are looking for psychologists, paediatricians, psychiatrists & more for autism assessments for kiddos who internalise or mask their sensory, social or communication differences.
Health professionals are strictly regulated when it comes to testimonials and while this is understandable, it does cause challenges for families trying to find someone who will suit their child.
If you’ve had a positive experience, please share who you would recommend in this 1 minute survey.

Conditions of submitting parent recommendations:
✅ Genuine parent recommendations only.
❌ Recommendations should be of providers that YOU have had personal experience of (rather than those you have received anecdotal feedback on).
✅ Providers should be located in Perth or WA or provide assessments online / via telehealth for families who live here. ✅ Providers don’t need to be listed on Perth Kids Hub to be reviewed.
✅ Recommendations may be published on the Perth Kids Hub website and social media. ✅ You can choose if your recommendation is published anonymously or with your first name. ✅ The form requires an email address – solely for the purpose of ensuring that providers are not providing their own positive reviews (you would be surprised …). Your email will only be used to verify the review or to acknowledge that it has been received. You will not be added to an email list for marketing purposes. ❌ If you do not supply an email address then it will be assumed that the review is from a provider and not published. ✅ Reviews not meeting these conditions will not be published. ✅ Submitting a review does not guarantee it will be published. ❌ Spamming of recommendations does not guarantee that any reviews or all reviews will be published by Perth Kids Hub and may result in your recommendations being removed from the website. ✅ Perth Kids Hub reserves the right to not publish reviews of providers who are known to have conditions placed on their practice by AHPRA. ✅ Families should do their own research of providers and ask parents for recommendations / confirm which practitioners they require for an autism assessment.
