    During his 17-year tenure as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in the public sector, Jacques has supported a diverse range of children and families. His primary focus has been on adolescents facing severe and high-risk mental health challenges, often requiring immediate care in emergency departments or mental health inpatient units.

    Jacques has experience in treating complex individual and family mental health concerns, amongst others:

    mood disorders,

    anxiety disorders,

    eating disorders,

    psychosis,

    PTSD,

    young people with personality vulnerabilities or emerging personality disorders.

    Additionally, Jacques served as the Head of Department for Acute Services at CAMHS, where he managed all hospital-based quaternary mental health services.

    The practice opened on 1 July 2025. The practice operates Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm. Please see your GP or Specialist Health Professional (eg Paediatrician) to obtain a written referral to the Tranquility Clinic. Without this referral, you will not be eligible for the Medicare rebate.
