My name is Danielle  – I am a child health professional with over 15 years nursing experience dedicated to improving the lives of mums, dads and children in many areas of early childhood development .

I completed a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) at Curtin University and my graduate program at Princess Margaret and Royal Perth Hospital.  As a young nurse I quickly realized that working with the 0 to 5 age group was my passion and completed my Postgraduate studies in Family and Community Health.

As a Child Health nurse I supported parents through workshops and consultations on a variety of subjects including sleep and settling, nutrition, behaviour and toileting. Toilet training education became my area of speciality. I have worked with hundreds of parents and become a trusted referral source for GPs, Child Health Nurses, Teachers, Day cares, Kindy’s and many many families. I am an expert contributor on a number of parenting podcasts and media outlets.

In addition to being the owner of Toileting Tots I am married with three young children.  They constantly remind me to keep my parenting strategies manageable, consistent and practical.
