At thriving through nature, we offer a unique nature based occupational therapy service. We are so excited to be able to provide group-based therapy in a beautiful outdoor setting. For us, nature provides a sense of calm and a space where child and family relationships can flourish.

We provide a safe environment that is relationship focused and strengths based and where new skills and a sense of belonging are developed in a playful, natural environment.

As experienced and skilled occupational therapists with combined practice of almost 20 years, we are confident and motivated to provide you and your child with a service that promotes development in a number of areas including and not limited to:

We base our play and thrive groups around principles of the Developmental, Individual-differences, and Relationship-based model (DIR, otherwise known as floortime).

As clinicians we have had extensive experience working with this model of delivery and have seen, firsthand, the benefits it plays on parent-child relationships, peer relationships and growth of social emotional development.

Being able to utilise our incredible natural environment to deliver occupational therapy groups is so beneficial and provides many opportunities for personal growth and development of goal areas.
