Estelle specialises in working with children diagnosed with A.S.D (Autism Spectrum Disorder) AD/HD, (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) 2E (Twice Exceptional) Giftedness, and specific learning difficulties such as Dyslexia.
Estelle offers an advisory service to parents requiring support when navigating the school system positively and liaising with other allied health professionals (speech therapists, paediatricians, occupational therapists’ psychologists, and educators) Other services include mentoring students and tailored tutoring, to ensure that information provided to families are streamlined. This involves all services working together to achieve the very best outcomes.
Estelle is an advocate for individual education and addresses each child’s challenges individually. Students may have a range of needs specific to their challenges and abilities, which require a tailored, yet diverse program which targets areas of need. This ensures that each child has the best opportunity to reach their potential.
Estelle also works with families requiring support in managing behaviour, self-regulation, and self-esteem. This service provides strategies and methods for parents to implement at home, to maximise engagement resulting in a seamless transition socially and in educational settings. Other services include, but are not restricted to, reducing escalating behaviour, encouraging positive relationships/friendships, and implementing boundaries around screen time/social media.
Estelle believes that confidence breeds success. She is a facilitator of the Optimism Program which presents children with tools and strategies to navigate through various social and academic situations. The program focuses on encouraging self. belief, facing challenges problem solving and resilience.
