Spaces available for Term 2. Supporting children aged 0-7 years at home, school or daycare within 30 minutes of Victoria Park (NOR or SOR).
We provide occupational therapy services for children, from infants to 7-year-olds, at home, school, kindergarten, or within the community. Our evidence-based practice focuses on using play as a tool to support each family and their child’s development.
We work to enhance essential skills in motor function, school readiness, self-care, social interaction, and managing sensory challenges. Through individualised therapy plans, we help children build the confidence and abilities they need to thrive in everyday activities, fostering independence and promoting a positive, fun learning experience.
Helping kids develop essential skills needed for a successful transition to school. Through fun, engaging activities, we focus on building both fine and gross motor skills. We also focus on learning and play skills, which are crucial for classroom participation, social interaction, and overall confidence.
Sensory integration helps children better process and respond to sensory information, improving their ability to focus, engage, and participate in everyday activities. Sensory integration can also support children with emotional regulation.
Through structured games and imaginative play, we help children understand social cues, practice communication, and build confidence in interacting with peers. By fostering these skills, we empower children to create positive relationships and navigate social situations.
Shelley has a strong passion for supporting neurodiverse children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and developmental delays. With a child and family- centred approach, she tailors her therapy to meet the unique needs of each child, fostering their strengths, independence and confidence.
Shelley has a particular interest in sensory integration, helping children better manage sensory challenges and improve their emotional regulation. She also specialises in handwriting development, using creative and fun strategies to build fine motor skills and promote writing success. All very important for school readiness and participation.
