At Power Kids Therapy Centre, we support children aged 0–18 years with complex physical disabilities and neurological conditions through Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Allied Health Assistant services.

That’s why we take the time to understand your child’s strengths, challenges and goals, and create a therapy plan that is tailored to them. Our approach is highly individualised and designed to build real skills that carry over into everyday life.

We support children with complex physical needs, including cerebral palsy, neuromuscular and genetic conditions, and acquired brain or spinal cord injuries. Many of the children we work with require support with mobility, equipment, positioning, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

We offer both clinic and mobile services, so therapy can happen where it works best for your child and your family. This might be in our clinic, at home, at school, in the pool, or out in the community. This helps your child build skills in the environments that matter most.

How we support your child:

• Early intervention and support with developmental milestones
• Movement and gait analysis and retraining
• Building independence with daily activities and functional skills
• Equipment and assistive technology assessment, trials and training
• Post-surgery rehabilitation and ongoing support
• Serial casting, splinting and orthotic management
• Pre and post Botulinum Toxin (Botox) management
• Intensive therapy programs including DMI and CME
• Aquatic physiotherapy and community-based therapy
• 24-hour positioning and pressure care support
• Cardiorespiratory and endurance-based therapy

We also use a range of specialised equipment and therapy approaches, including Theratogs, DMO garments prescription, functional electrical stimulation (TASES) and spider cage therapy. These are selected based on your child’s individual needs.

At the heart of what we do is helping your child feel confident, included and supported to take part in everyday life, whether that is at home, at school, or out in the community.
