Parent Capacity Building Session - Body to Brain Connection
Description
Join our Occupational Therapists as they connect and support parents around:
- What is interoception and why does it matter?
- Understanding your child's body clues and internal signals
- Recognising when your child may need support with body awareness
- Strategies to help your child notice, name and respond to body signals
- Advocation for your child's sensory and regulation needs
Parents are encouraged to bring their children along to this session. Whilst parents take part in the education workshop, the Functional team will keep children engages with a fun, supervised activity session.
