iFit (9-16 year olds)

Description

iFit is a goal-based, individualised program supporting participation in sport and community recreation. 

  • 1-on-1 support
  • Program designed and supervised by Accredited Exercise Physiologists and delivered by student coaches
  • Builds skills for sport & community recreation
  • Focus on confidence, strength and participation
  • 9 week program
  • After school Tuesdays or Wednesdays 4:30–6:00pm
  • 1.5 hours | $25 per session

The UWA Paediatric Exercise Programs are fun movement-based programs for children and teens aged 3 to 16 years who find participating in physical play, activity or sport challenging.

The programs may suit children and teens who find movement skills hard, lack confidence to join sport or games, need extra support to participate and would benefit from small groups or 1-on-1 support.

The programs offered aim to:

✅ Build movement skills, strength and fitness

✅ Grow self confidence

✅ Enjoy physical activity, exercise and sport

Programs are delivered at the University of Western Australia (UWA).
