We’re excited (and a little heartbroken! 😭) to announce that More Than Able’s amazing paediatric occupational therapist, Alex Fitzgerald, is relocating from Queensland to Perth.

From 30 September 2025, Alex will be offering mobile paediatric OT services to Perth families – and we’re now taking starting to book in her new clients.

Alex has been part of the More Than Able family since she was a brand-new graduate. While we’re so sad to see her leave our Queensland clinic, we know Perth families are going to absolutely love her. Between our tears (and loud sobs 😭), we asked Alex if she’d like to be our very first More Than Able therapist in Perth. Lucky for you – and us – she said YES!

All about Alex

Alex is thoughtful, bright and passionate about affecting positive change in the lives of her little clients. She brings a neuroaffirming approach to her work with autistic and ADHD children, ensuring each child feels understood, celebrated, and supported. Alex also brings years of experience in supporting children with complex disability including cerebral palsy, rare, and genetic conditions.

Outside of work, Alex loves the beach, is a former competitive swimmer, lives for ramen and coffee and is a self-confessed astronomy-nerd.

Professionally, Alex brings years of experience in disability support, child development, equipment prescription, and NDIS services  helping families navigate the complexities of paediatric OT with confidence. She collaborates closely with educators, support workers, allied health professionals, and families to make sure progress happens where it matters most: in real life.
