About
I’m passionate about helping children thrive through gentle, natural care. Traditional Chinese Medicine has supported children’s health for centuries, and I use a range of techniques that are tailored especially for little bodies.
With specialist training in paediatric acupuncture, I draw on both Chinese and Japanese traditions to create a safe, nurturing, and effective approach for babies, children, and teens up to 16 years old.
I know many parents worry about needles – and children do too! That’s why I use a wide variety of non-needle techniques, including:
Shonishin (Japanese paediatric acupuncture) with rounded massage tools that never pierce the skin
Tui na (Chinese medical massage) to calm, strengthen, and support growth
Cupping with soft silicone cups (glass is reserved for older teens)
Guasha using a smooth stone tool with soothing oils
Moxibustion, a safe warming technique to build energy and restore balance
Essential oils, tailored to each child’s needs and preferences
For children under 7, I often rely solely on these gentle, non-needle options. For older children and teens, I may introduce super-fine acupuncture needles (thinner than a strand of hair), always with a very gentle technique.
Every treatment is personalised to your child’s comfort level, stage of development, and unique health needs. Children can sit on your lap or lie comfortably – the focus is always on making them feel safe, supported, and involved.
Supporting children with ADHD
From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, ADHD is understood not just as a single condition, but as an imbalance in the body’s systems.
For example: the Heart influences focus, memory, and calmness – disturbances can lead to restlessness. The Spleen supports concentration and memory – weakness can cause mental fatigue. The Kidneys and Liver help regulate energy – imbalances may show up as hyperactivity or impulsiveness, especially when tired.
By working with these systems, TCM can gently support children with ADHD using acupuncture (or non-needle techniques like Shonishin and Tui na), massage, cupping, guasha, diet, and lifestyle guidance.
Treatments are personalised to each child, helping regulate energy, improve concentration, and restore balance – always alongside conventional care and supports.
A safe, natural option for families
Paediatric acupuncture and holistic treatments offer families a gentle, natural way to care for children’s wellbeing. Whether your child is experiencing restlessness, trouble focusing, frequent illnesses, or simply needs support to thrive, our treatments are designed to balance the body, calm the mind, and encourage healthy development.
Women's Health
I believe in supporting women through every phase of their cycle, from menstruation to pregnancy and menopause. Whether you’re looking for a healthier, more balanced period, preparing for pregnancy, addressing irregular cycles, or seeking support through menopause, I design treatment plans that work with your body’s rhythms.
Women’s health treatments often follow a plan of weekly sessions over 1–3 months, as cycles usually take time to respond to change. I also provide pregnancy care, from easing symptoms in early pregnancy to preparing for birth in the later stages.
About me - Bree Pash-Davison, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture
I’ve always been drawn to natural therapies and have been a massage therapist for over 20 years, supporting women with their health and healing. After becoming a mum, my perspective shifted, and I knew I wanted to do more for families. That journey led me to Chinese Medicine – and I’ve never looked back.
Today, I’m an AHPRA-registered acupuncturist with specialist paediatric training, and I’m proud to be a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA). My passion is caring for families – showing children, women, and all family members the gentle, effective options Chinese Medicine can offer.
You’ll find me at Henosis & Co in West Leederville, and also in Tuart Hill and Osborne Park on select days.
