Small Group, Occupational Therapist-Facilitated Executive Functioning Group for Years 6, 7, 8 & 9.
Are you ready to level up your school skills?
Join us for an engaging and practical group designed to help students build the executive functioning and independence skills needed to navigate the increasing demands of middle and high school.
Through a range of fun, hands-on challenges and activities, students will work on strategies for staying organised, managing time, planning and prioritising, starting and completing tasks, problem-solving, and adapting to changing expectations.
Key skills targeted include:
- Organisation and planning
- Time management
- Task initiation and completion
- Prioritising and managing workload
- Working memory
- Cognitive flexibility
- Problem-solving
- Goal setting
- Self-monitoring and independence
- Perseverance and confidence
Students will have the opportunity to practise these skills in a supportive environment while developing practical strategies they can take into the classroom and everyday school life.
