Joondalup Social Hub: Social Program for Young People Aged 12-17 years
Spectrum Space is excited to be expanding to the City of Joondalup, and we are now welcoming registrations for our Joondalup Social Hub, a strengths‑based, neuro‑affirming program designed for autistic teens aged 12-17.
Proudly supported by the City of Joondalup, this program marks our first expansion into the area, and we’re looking forward to welcoming new participants into our community. Participants can join throughout the school term.
The Joondalup Social Hub offers a supportive, inclusive space where young people can be themselves, connect with peers, and build confidence through shared interests and meaningful social experiences.
The program is designed around participants’ strengths, interests, and goals, creating opportunities to form friendships, develop independence, and feel a sense of belonging.
What to Expect
Participants can look forward to:
✅ Weekly sessions during school terms
✅ Experienced facilitators using a strengths‑based, neuro‑affirming approach
✅ Activities shaped by participant interests, including creative projects, games, and team activities
✅ Opportunities to build confidence, independence, and social skills
✅ A welcoming, supportive environment that values individuality and connection
If your child is outside the 12-17 age range, don’t worry, programs for other age groups will be opening soon in Joondalup. Perhaps explore our other social programs in WA on our website.
This program is supported by the City of Joondalup.
