Hi, my name is Derry and I am a Paediatric Exercise Physiologist.  I am passionate about working with children of all abilities, to help them and their families achieve their goals. This is done through play based physical therapy and Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), to ensure little ones are having lots of fun along the way.

At FUNctional Paediatric Therapy I provide evidence-based physical therapy for children with movement difficulties, gross motor delays and any childhood condition impacting their gross motor function.  I believe in a holistic approach to health and wellness, where each child is treated as an individual with unique needs.

Qualifications

I completed my Bachelor of Exercise, Sport and Rehabilitation at Curtin University (Perth, WA), followed by a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Victoria University (Melbourne, VIC). I have been a qualified Exercise Physiologist for 6 years now, specialising in Paediatrics for the past 4 years.
