Assessments
Our regional assessment clinic provides comprehensive assessments for intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), specific learning disorders (including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia), and giftedness. Each assessment is tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients and is conducted by experienced professionals.
We also understand that every person is different and as such, we offer several different assessment packages designed to meet their needs. If the options below don't quite meet your needs, we can also tailor an assessment package (additional fees may apply depending on the extent of assessment).
All assessment packages aim to provide comprehensive evaluations that will shed light on individuals' strengths and areas that may require additional support.
Do you provide assessment services to regional areas?
Yes, we are committed to making our assessment services accessible to those in regional areas and as such, we offer a dedicated regional assessment service. We understand the importance of providing support to communities that may have limited access to specialised assessment services.
How many assessments are required for you to visit a regional area?
To ensure the viability and impact of our visit to a regional area, we do require a minimum number of assessments booking for a specified area before we will travel. Please contact us to discuss the specific number needed for your location, as it can vary based on travel logistics and the duration of our stay.
Can assessments be conducted online?
Yes and No. We are able to offer aspects of our assessments online for certain conditions. These are conducted through a secure platform that ensures privacy and accuracy. However, in most cases assessments need to be conducted in person (particularly if assessing for intellectual disabilities, giftfedness, specific learning disorders and autism in children).
What is the process for getting an assessment for myself or my child?
All potential assessments start with an initial consultation. During this consultation, we'll discuss your concerns and determine the most appropriate type of assessment for your needs. Following this, we'll provide you with detailed information about the assessment process, including preparation, duration, fees and what to expect.
No referral required.
