Dr Stephen Bilkey's books are currently closed to new clients for behavioural and developmental referrals. Dr Bilkey is accepting general paediatric referrals. Developmental referrals are likely to open in April 2023.
DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRESS CONSULTATIONS
Where to start with your child with developmental delay? Where to go while waiting for a specialist appointment? How can you cope with your challenging child? You need a GP with extra developmental training to direct you.
The GP's at Baby Steps Health Centre have extra training in Developmental issues to help you know what help your child needs and where to get it. They work with Paediatricians, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists and Podiatrists. They know where your child can access the right help while you are waiting for a Paediatrician appointment or instead of seeing one. It is one or sometimes two appointments to set your path right.
