Who are we?
We’re a growing, Perth based psychology practice led by Craig Salisbury, a registered psychologist and father of 4 with more than 15 years experience working with kids, teens, parents and adults in private practice, as a school psychologist, and as an early childhood psychologist with multi-disciplinary early intervention teams.
How we help
Every person and mind is unique. So too are your reasons for considering speaking with a psychologist. We appreciate that taking the first step towards resolving challenges can sometimes be the hardest, and with this in mind, we’re hopeful that our approach will put you at ease.
If you’d like to see us to support one of your kids, the usual first step is to speak with you (a parent, parents or carer) to understand what your concerns are and to see that we’re the best fit to help.
What we help with
We work with our clients across a wide range of areas and challenges, including:
We also have experience in some more unique areas such as:
In person appointments
Visit us at our rooms in South Perth, right near Perth Zoo and the Mill Point Road exit from the freeway. Onsite parking is available at the rear of our premises and free 2 hour parking is available right out the front.
Telehealth appointments
Having lived and practised in Melbourne in Covid times, we’re well versed in the convenience and ease of telehealth for psychology. With more than 100 of our clients based interstate (mostly in Melbourne), people tell us that having a telehealth session makes it easier to get support, in a timely way, when it’s needed the most (and without the logistics of juggling your lunch break, meetings, school drop offs, kids sport, parking - you get the idea!). Our sessions are via Zoom, meaning you can log in from the privacy of your home (in comfy clothes!), work, or wherever you feel most comfortable, using a device of your preference.
We are a private billing practice, meaning anyone can make an appointment without a referral - simply email us at hello@combinedmindspsychology.com.au to arrange a time that suits you best.
If you have a referral from your GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist such as for a Mental Health Treatment Plan, please email that to us also and you will be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate.
If you’re a new client, after your appointment time is agreed, we’ll email to you a link to complete a “New Client Intake Form”, via our secure online portal “Halaxy”. The intake form is used to collect your contact information, details for your preferred method of invoice payment (eg a debit or credit card), and to seek your consent to the provision of psychological services.
Two days before your appointment, you will receive an SMS reminder of your appointment time.
For telehealth appointments, you will receive the Zoom link for your appointment time the day before your appointment.
