CliniKids is the first clinical service of The Kids Research Institute Australia, providing evidence-based therapies and supports for young children with development delay and/or autism, and their families.

One of the unique aspects of CliniKids is the integration of clinical services with autism research. Led by Professor Andrew Whitehouse, our researchers work in collaboration with our clinicians to give families faster access to world-leading therapies that are neurodiversity-affirming, backed by research, and tailored to families’ individual needs.

CliniKids is a registered NDIS provider offering Speech Therapy, Occupational
Therapy, and Psychology services. We also provide evidence-based therapy programs for children under nine with autism, developmental delays, or other differences in development. Families also have the opportunity to be involved in our most current research.

One-off clinical appointments to discuss the best next steps for supporting children’s strengths and support needs are also available. These sessions are available for families and professionals.

CliniKids also delivers training for allied health professionals and early years educators, in addition to parent information sessions and free online autism seminars for the community.

CliniKids has two clinics in Perth – Subiaco and Joondalup - and telehealth is also an option for many supports and therapies.

CliniKids won the Allied Health Professionals category at the 2025 Western Australian Disability Support Awards and the Excellence in Allied Health category at the 2023 National Disability Awards.
