CliniKids offers Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Psychology and Focused Therapy programs services for children under the age of 9 who have autism, a developmental delay or who may be developing differently.
About
CliniKids is The Kids Research Institute Australia’s first team integrating their world-class research with a clinical service. At the heart of our innovative model are children with developmental delay and/or an autism, and their families.
By working side by side, our exceptional team of researchers and clinicians, led by Professor Andrew Whitehouse, put research into practice, providing families with access to tailored supports and the best evidence-based therapies in the world.
CliniKids, a registered NDIS provider, offers early support services including speech pathology, occupational therapy and psychology for children under the age of 9 years. Families also have the opportunity to be involved in our most current research.
One-off clinical appointments to discuss the best next steps for supporting children’s strengths and support needs are also available. These sessions are available for families and professionals.
CliniKids also runs workshops for parents and caregivers in addition to professional training in specific therapies for clinicians and autism professionals.
CliniKids has two clinics in Perth – Subiaco and Joondalup - and telehealth is also an option for many supports and therapies.
CliniKids won the Excellence in Allied Health category at the 2023 National Disability Awards, an initiative of the National Disability Services.
Referral information
We offer clinical services and therapy programs for children under the age of 9 who have autism, a developmental delay or who may be developing differently. No formal diagnosis or referral is required to access services at CliniKids.
