Psychotherapy is not currently covered by Medicare - in view of this I offer ten sessions a reduced fee - $150 per session.

Hi, I'm Tracy. I provide specialist psychotherapy for children and young people from babies to 25 years. I am a psychoanalytic child and adolescent psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience in specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in the UK. Now based in Perth, I have established my own practice to support children, young people and families.

As a member of the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP), a UK-regulated professional body, and the Child Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association of Australia (CPPAA), I uphold the highest standards of training and care. My six year, doctorate-level training reflects the rigorous requirements for ACP registered child psychotherapists, a core profession within NHS CAMHS teams in the UK.

What is Child Psychotherapy?

Psychoanalytic child psychotherapy is a highly specialist, doctorate level, evidence-based treatment for emotional, behavioural &mental health challenges in children & young people.

What can Child Psychotherapy Assist with?

ACP-registered psychoanalytic child psychotherapists are trained to assist with a wide range of emotional & behavioural challenges including:

Depression
Trauma
Anxiety
Self-harm & suicidal thoughts
Anger / aggression
Difficulties arising from change or loss
Eating disorders
Problems with bed wetting or soiling
Emotional problems linked to neurodiversity

Psychoanalytic child psychotherapists are able to offer treatment to highly complex difficulties that other therapies have not been able to address.

Psychoanalytic child psychotherapy does not rely solely on spoken words, so can be very helpful for children who struggle to talk or engage in more formal talking therapies.

I have a particular interest in working with difficulties arising from trauma. I have extensive experience in helping children and young people with complex difficulties, including children who have experienced abuse, and children who self harm
