It is a hybrid service offering in both office, school and home-based therapies.
Description
Welcome to Bluebell Therapy & Consultation service, we are an inclusive, trauma informed and neuro-affirming therapy space for young people and their families.
Bluebell Therapy & Consultation has over 20 years clinical experience working with young people with difficult emotions & behaviours, low mood, self-harm, suicidal thoughts and school refusal.
As well as psychological assistance, we also provide social work services of advocacy, family therapy and school liaison for families with complex needs.
Here at Bluebell, we understand that young people and families are unique and psychological care plans are tailored to meet individual needs. For adolescents, therapies that might be used include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Radical-Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (R-DBT), Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT) and Narrative Therapy. These therapies are utilised within client centred philosophies, and we always make sure that the young person feels safe and connected in any therapeutic work.
For younger children, developmentally tailored attachment-based therapies are used, along with trauma informed expressive and play based therapies for young children experiencing grief and loss, domestic violence, separation anxiety or situational mutism.
