AIM Therapy for Children has been providing therapy services to children for over ten years!  We love helping children and teens to improve their skills while also having fun!

We offer multidisciplinary assessment and therapy both individual and group services at our three Western Australian premises in Wembley, Joondalup, and Canning Vale.

Our services include:

All our services are offered face to face or via telehealth.  We also offer school, day care and home visits delivered straight to you!

We are registered with NDIS, Medicare and Private Health for a range of funding options.

Our Physiotherapists specialise in Developmental Physiotherapy including:
- Plagiocephaly
- Infant Torticollis
- Developmental Hip Dysplasia (more info required before booking)
- Developmental Delay
- Developmental Coordination Disorder
- Gross Motor Skills

- Our Physiotherapists can complete the DCD Assessment, but clients would need to go to their paediatrician for the diagnosis.

- For DCD, it is usually completed by a Physiotherapist - OT often just contributes information for the assessment.

If you have concerns around gross motor skills specific to Autism or ADHD, please give us a call to see how we can help. We may require some more information before booking.

OT availability for:
- Functional Capacity Assessments
- Gross/fine motor
- Sensory preferences
- Emotional regulation
- Social skills
- Handwriting skills
- Executive functioning

Our OTs can complete a Motor Dysgraphia assessment but please note,  it’s not a diagnosis and we can only confirm the presence of it after 6 months of targeted handwriting intervention, so reassessment would be required.

Speech availability for:
- Early speech and language
- Receptive language
- Literacy
- Reading comprehension
- Lisps
- Fluency and stuttering

- For DLD and CAS (Speech Asx) we can’t offer diagnostic services but we can offer support once a diagnosis has been received. This is the case for most of the assessments listed. 😊

Please note that whilst we advertise immediate availability, we also match your child with the most appropriately skilled/best fit therapist, so there may be a wait, depending on your individual child's needs.

Psychology availability for:

- We have capacity for ASD and ADHD Screeners which are conducted by our Registered Psychologist but we are unable to perform any diagnostic assessment for either of these conditions.
