We have just welcomed Counselling Psychologist Ilana Uys to our practice and she has immediate availability but her books are filling quickly. She can assist with assessments for specific learning disorders such as Dyslexia and also for ADHD. She is passionate about supporting children and adolescents and is available for individual counselling too.

Ilana is warm, caring and approachable and she loves working with children and adolescents. She is also great with adults. Ilana has extensive experience in both diagnostic assessment and psychological treatment and offers expertise in a wide range of areas, including:
- ADHD assessments
- SLD assessments
- Generalised anxiety
- School refusal and separation anxiety
- Social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties
- Learning disabilities and developmental concerns
- Understanding ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), grief, PTSD, and trauma presentations
- Peer and relationship difficulties, perfectionism and sleep difficulties.
With her down to earth nature, her ability to connect quickly with young clients and their families, and her extensive range of therapeutic approaches, Ilana looks forward to discussing your needs and helping your child with their concerns. Having just started at AIM Psychology Group after working elsewhere, Ilana has immediate availability from 13th OCtober 2025

Referral information
If you would like to claim a medicare rebate for sessions, a GP referral is required, however, bookings can be made for sessions without one.
