Aikido is a Japanese martial art that teaches self-defense techniques using joint locks, throws and strikes. The aim of Aikido is to promote harmony instead of cultivating violence or aggressiveness. Our classes are designed for kids aged 4-16 and are taught by experienced instructors who prioritise safety and fun.
There is also a specific class for autistic and ADHD kids.

Various classes are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5pm to 6.30pm at a purpose built dojo located at Port Kennedy. We offer a free trial class for new students, so don't hesitate to come and try it out!
