This means, we come to you and work with your child or young adult in their familiar and natural environments whether that's home, school, work or a community location.

Meet Alix- Director and Senior Occupational Therapist of About You OT.

Hello!
I’m Alix, an Occupational Therapist with over 14 years of experience supporting children, young adults, and their families in both Australia and the United Kingdom. My work has been grounded in the disability and community health sector, where I’ve had the privilege of serving as both a Team Leader and Senior Occupational Therapist.

As a mum of two, I truly value a collaborative and holistic approach — working alongside families, schools, and other professionals to provide support that is meaningful and tailored to each individual’s unique needs.

✨ I work with children and young adults to build on their strengths and develop skills in areas such as:

• Comprehensive Assessments

• Early intervention and developmental support

• Motor skills and coordination

• Emotional regulation and sensory processing

• Social connection and relationships

• Building independence in everyday life skills (dressing, mealtimes, meal preparation, toileting, organisation, planning routines and community skills).
