At the moment the focus is on AHPRA registered and/or Medicare providers of child development and mental health services to Western Australian families.  

More categories will be added over time but the greatest demand from families is for medical and allied health services so this is my focus. 

AHPRA registered and Medicare service providers who are physically located in Western Australia continue to be offered a 12 month basic (free) listing option.

Other providers or those who are not physically located in Perth/WA are welcome to purchase a paid listing from $10 per month.  

Paid listings help offset costs such as professional, cyber security and public indemnity insurance, legal fees, website hosting and maintenance and various subscriptions and tools required to provide this service in a professional way that also protects my family from any potential legal issues. 

Since October 2021 our family has paid all of the outgoings to set up and operate this website. While the outgoings are not huge, they do add up, as does the amount of my time that it takes to compile this and answer queries from providers and families.  

While I would love that, I know that case loads fluctuate. 

Perth Kids Hub offers a simple way of showing if you ARE accepting new referrals or if your books are closed. 

It’s a great way to quickly start showing up in searches if you add capacity to your practice.  For example, you might have a new team member, someone who’s returned from maternity leave or who’s increased their hours and is looking to fill their client load. 

Just ticked “Books Closed” and families searching on Perth Kids Hub won’t have you appear in searches if they are looking only for those taking on new clients.  With your account log in you can update your availability any time, as often as you like.  It will save you precious time from needing to answer emails or phone calls enquiring about availability or waitlists.
