Science Day is back at Wesley!

We bring some all new experiments encompassing many of the wonders of science, all taught in a fun hands-on way to engage the kids’ curiosity.

The children will design and build their very own rocket ship using recycled materials. We will then launch them into the sky, fuelled by way of a simple acid base reaction….Bang! Countdown on 10,9,8,7……

Each child will also construct a water filtration system from their own kit. We will turn muddy water clear (hopefully!) and see what happens when we filter coloured water. A great learning tool.

Also, the kids will be taught how to make a dancing balloon that defies everything we know about how balloons usually move. And with their balloons, we will create some hair raising, crazy static electricity fun.

The children get to take all of their experiments home, where they can be repeated over and over.
