I Am Brave – Worrier to Warrior, Ages 6+, $150, The Maker Space Floreat

In this special workshop kids will explore how to be brave even when they are feeling nervous or worried about trying something. No boring lectures they will be doing this by imagining themselves as a super hero and what special powers and thoughts they need to keep trying when they are worried or have made a mistake.

Each child will create their superhero as a statue and also make a trusty side kick out of clay. Kids will also make a calm jar, guaranteed to help them calm down when their worries are making them have big emotions. Their take home creations will be powerful reminders of the messages and techniques for bravery and confidence they learn during the day.

Please note, The Maker Space is a secure tenancy in Floreat Forum. Doors will be secured and children will be supervised at all times. Children will be escorted to a toilet by our staff with access to an ambulant toilet (one person access at a time) which our staff will wait on the outside of the door.
